Shipping Coordinator

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Coordinator to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient processing of shipments, managing inventory, and maintaining accurate records. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations and fulfillment processes. Duties Coordinate and oversee the shipping process from order receipt to delivery. Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage order fulfillment. Operate equipment such as reach trucks and pallet jacks for loading and unloading shipments. Perform order picking and packing to ensure accuracy and quality of outgoing packages. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to optimize shipping schedules and improve efficiency. Conduct basic math calculations to verify order quantities and weights. Address any shipping discrepancies or issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction. Qualifications Previous experience in a shipping or warehouse environment is preferred. Familiarity with shipping and receiving operations is a plus. Proficiency in using warehouse and inventory management systems for tracking orders and inventory. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to operate reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely. Basic math skills for accurate order processing. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Physical ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds as needed.
