This position plays a critical role in ensuring customer orders are prepared accurately, delivery routes are organized efficiently, and communication between warehouse staff, drivers, and office personnel runs smoothly. We are expanding this department to include a second Shipping Coordinator to support our continued growth. Schedule Thursday - Monday 5:00 AM - 1:00 PM Tuesdays & Wednesdays Off Weekend availability required Responsibilities Coordinate and organize daily outgoing deliveries Verify customer orders for accuracy before shipment Assist with routing and delivery scheduling Communicate with drivers regarding routes, issues, and delivery changes Prepare shipping paperwork and manifests Monitor order status and delivery completion Work closely with warehouse staff to ensure timely loading of trucks Help maintain product quality and temperature control standards Address shipping discrepancies or customer delivery concerns Support general operational and logistics needs as assigned Qualifications Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Basic computer proficiency and data entry skills Dependable attendance and punctuality Attention to detail Logistics, warehouse, dispatch, or shipping experience preferred Experience with routing or delivery software is a plus Ability to work collaboratively with office and warehouse teams Seafood, food distribution, or refrigerated transportation experience is helpful but not required Physical Requirements Ability to work in refrigerated warehouse environments as needed Ability to lift and move boxes or products when necessary Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Stable full-time schedule Health, vision, and dental insurance Opportunities for growth within the company Additional Requirements Adhere to the policies and procedures outlined in the employee policy manual and any applicable contracts, signed agreements, and work rules Cooperates with all management and staff at MCSC Follows all OSHA rules and regulations, as they apply to the position This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
