Responsibilities Position Summary:
The Shipping Production Clerk performs clerical support tasks for the Shipping department. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Providing clerical support for a manufacturing department, including filing, creating documents, data entry, and answering telephone calls Organizing and maintaining safety and training records Maintaining time sheets Preparing departmental correspondence Employees are responsible for complying with all requirements of Daifuku's QMS policies and procedures. Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Qualifications Education & Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous clerical support or administrative experience Must be proficient in
Microsoft Excel Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:
MS Office skills, including knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook Ability to work independently with little supervision Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines Good verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills Self-motivated and detail-oriented Team orientation
ADA Requirements:
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction, and having the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and making fine discriminations in sound.
Visual Acuity:
The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.
