General Description/Job Purpose:
Receiving Coordination:
- Provide total accounting of all goods and materials delivered to GSM shops, offices, and storage facilities.
- Notifies shops, Foreman, Purchasing, and Project management teams of shop deliveries and seeks follow up instructions for material staging, storing, or delivery.
- Distributes electronic copies of packing lists upon arrival of PO items. Uploads and stores packing lists in QuickBase.
- Updates and maintains Quickbase PO log as required.
- Ensures all stored and/or staged goods and materials received are tagged with job name and job numbers using provided tags/stickers.
Logistics Coordination:
- Works in concert with GSM shop foremen and Facility Coordinator to ensure accurate and timely deliveries as dictated on delivery schedule.
- Directs drivers to ensure all timed deliveries are met as per delivery schedule.
- Ensures all other non-timed deliveries, will calls and logistics needs are routed for efficiency and completed daily.
- Assists Drivers and Warehouse support personnel in pre-loading and staging of vehicles and ensures DOT compliance is met (if applicable).
- Needs to be fluid in approach to meet GSM customers and end users needs and schedule.
- Seeks out Facility Coordinator, Shop Foreman, or customer to notify if there is delay or deviation from daily delivery tasking.
- Coordinates the scheduling of deliveries of shop received goods and materials destined for field use as required.
- Assembles completed orders originating from GSM shop, office, or staging areas, verifies order, and coordinates delivery if required.
- Seeks out customer if needed for any adjustments made to orders before order is shipped.
- Ensures all orders are shipped with documentation and is backed up and stored electronically.
- Provides any needed assistance for Will-Call orders being picked up from GSM shop.
- Works with Facility Coordinator when needing to outsource deliveries via 3rd party (Courier)
- Ensure delivery driver has all necessary information prior to making a delivery to customer.
Management:
- Provide total accountabilities for all needs within the following designated areas. This includes providing tracking of any assets, goods and materials being stored, all housekeeping, and bringing maintenance issues forward.
- All dedicated receiving locations and staging areas; all off-site storage locations and all non-shop-maintained flex space.
Other Job Duties:
- Provide back-up support for other warehouse operations as needed and directed by the Facility Coordinator
- Maintain punctual attendance.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation
- Perform general shop duties as needed and directed by Warehouse manager.
- Respectfully takes direction from supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned by Facility Coordinator
- Embrace continuous improvement.
Measures:
- Feedback to be communicated, monitored and reported prior to weekly production meeting with Facility Coordinator
- Customer service feedback (internal/external).
- Timely and accurate execution of assigned tasks as well as deliveries, load accuracy, and goods received utilizing the QB PO log and QB delivery calendar
- Identifying, communicating, and suggesting corrective actions to increase effectiveness of shipping & receiving processes.
- Tracking of insufficient supplied data for processing of received orders utilizing the QB PO log and QB delivery calendar

Diploma or GED required with 2-3 years related experience. General understanding of sheet metal products, associated hazards as well as the greater Portland metro and surrounding areas is preferred. Certificates, Licenses and/orRegistrations:
Valid Oregon Driver's License Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.Mathematical Skills :
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.Computer Skills:
Has advanced basic computer job skills including logging on to systems, ability to communicate by email. Can log on to a computer system, navigate in Microsoft windows, perform simple tasks within applications and enter information into a database.Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.Physical Demands:

The noise level in the work environment is loud out in the shop, client locations and job sites. The employee is regularly exposed to outdoor weather and frequently near moving mechanical parts. $22.00- $28.
