Shipping / Receiving Clerk

McLane Classic Foods is a premier custom kettle products company based in Burleson, Texas. Specializing in custom product development, we produce a wide range of kettle cooked recipes for our national chain restaurant partners. Our capabilities include an array of kettle cooked food products including soups, sauces, side dishes and dips. We have a great opportunity for a Shipping / Receiving Clerk Role and Responsibilities Position will support all functions of shipping and receiving:

• Schedule inbound and outbound trucks by appointment for 3rd party warehouse transfer and direct shipments.
• Work closely with purchasing to ensure materials are scheduled to arrive when needed, and notify when there may be a delay or discrepancies in quantities received versus ordered.
• Coordinate with QA on finished product release for outbound transfers, and any quality issues discovered at receipt of inbound materials.
• Verify inbound inspection forms are completed accurately, material specifications are on file, and materials are from approved vendors.
• Print lot tags, allergen labels, forms, picklists, and any other documents required by shipping and receiving personnel.
• Enter receipts, outbound transfers, and bin location transfers into inventory system.
• Maintain inventory of pallets for production, and other shipping/receiving supplies.
• Help with cycle counting and annual physical inventory count.

Receive inbound inventory at MCF and Vertical Cold Storage. Maintain daily outbound/transfer schedule. Check in/out drivers and assign doors. Answer phones/emails. Maintain receiving schedule and be in contact with all stakeholders on changes to the schedule. Maintain digital and physical documents. Maintain the small parcel area. Back up for ALL warehousing duties. Count and resolve ALL receiving issues prior to releasing drivers and receiving into the system. Maintain pallet vendor scheduling. 6:30am - 3pm or until ALL trucks are finished Qualifications and Education Requirements Highschool diploma or GED. Experience working in a manufacturing environment focused on employee safety. 3 - 5 yrs Shipping Clerk Experience Bilingual a plus Preferred Skills Must be proficient in Microsoft Office with good communication skills.
