PL13 $112,100- $124,500 Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range. Variable pay may provide additional opportunities for financial awards. This job is eligible to participate in IP's short -term incentive plan.

401 Avenue U Bogalusa, LA The Bogalusa Mill PSD Technical Assistant will manage the outbound shipping warehouse inventory and NS Cross Dock Execution. This position will improve the overall operation and efficiency of the department for the ultimate result of delighting our customers. They will work with the Memphis Logistics Team to keep inventory at safe and efficient levels in the outbound warehouse. Additionally, will assist with the paper machine scheduling - furnish the paper machines with proper run cycles/trims/orders/schedules. They will coordinate trials with mill CTS, machine managers and supply planning.

Customer Service:

Review shipment plans and collaborate on issues with the Memphis Logistics Team. Communicate with Logistics on any trims not planned and handle inventory with shipment plans. Work with AE/RP to resolve customer issues. Handle stranded inventory, quality hold, IWOS and No STO. Handle the transfer and shipment of non-conforming product. Work closely with the Shipping warehouse to maintain a safe inventory level. Implement strategies to minimize sales trim. Implement strategies to improve customer experience and reduce customer complaints related to shipping damage. Inventory Cycle Count Bays twice a year.

Transportation Functions:

Manage NS Crossdock to achieve contracted volume throughput. Including setting up of systems, reporting Maximize mode shift opportunities Assist with warehouse redesign and organization Knowledge of diversion/transfer of product - physical returns and virtual returns after PGI. Manage 3 rd party truck spotting and rail spotting. Minimize demurrage/detention/primary routing fees.

Manufacturing Excellence:

Candidate will lead or participate in deliberate improvement activities. Yellow Belt or above preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to learn multiple systems.
