division is currently seeking a Shipping Technician I (1st Shift). The hourly rate for this position is $18.11 per hour. The core hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 am until 3:30 pm. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What you'll do: The Shipping Technician is responsible for executing all shipping-related tasks, including but not limited to performing visual inspections and preparing, packing, and shipping finished products and raw materials as required. This role supports the supply chain by ensuring customer orders are fulfilled accurately, safely, and on time, while consistently adhering to Standard Work procedures and producing high-quality results. Follow all environmental, health, and safety standards, including PPE requirements, WSRA compliance, and immediate reporting of safety concerns. Maintain a clean and organized workspace through 5S+ practices. Perform quality checks, including visual inspections, identifying nonconforming materials, and resolving production or quality issues. Support continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements and conducting root cause analysis when needed. Follow standard operating procedures and use supply chain systems to track inventory and scan shipments. Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) and use proper lifting techniques, including lift assists when required. Use hand and power tools to build and secure crates and packaging for shipment (e.g., banders, nail guns, saws). Cross-train across roles, assist team members as needed, and prepare finished goods for shipment or storage.
