), with potential overtime on Fridays available depending on business volume About the Role Classic Exhaust Systems LLC is a specialized manufacturer of replica OEM exhaust systems for classic cars . We produce factory-correct reproduction exhaust systems (pipes, mufflers, and hardware) for vehicles from the 1919-1980 era. We're looking for a reliable, physically strong, detail-oriented team member who takes pride in quality, follows detailed processes exactly, and maintains a clean and safe workspace. Key Responsibilities (you will use our proven SOPs, Order Packing Checklist, and Daily Schedule every day): Complete daily area maintenance using the Maintenance Checklist (sweep, empty trash, organize pallets/tools, clear clutter). Receive & inspect shipments: verify against Purchase Requisition Form, inspect for damage, initial forms, complete Damage Report Form if needed, and notify leadership. Pack orders step-by-step using the

Order Packing Checklist:

review work order, highlight applicable details, layout/fit pipes & mufflers per diagrams/bending cards, obtain owner (Rick) approval + photos to Teams app, label driver/passenger side components, wrap flanges and tailpipes, build secure boxes with proper padding. Use ShipStation to generate shipping labels, print packing slips, confirm correct ship-to address, and stage boxes for pickup. File completed Order Packing Checklist + Packing Slip + 2nd shipping label. Participate in weekly safety inspections and submit daily KPI log. Assist with other general shop or production tasks as needed when shipping and receiving workload is light (common in a small manufacturing environment). What We're Looking For (Must-Haves) : Physically capable of lifting and moving fully packaged exhaust kits (up to 50+ lbs) short distances (approximately 25-50 feet) to the banding station and shipping door, along with regular bending, reaching, and standing while assembling, fitting, labeling, and packaging exhaust system components. Strong attention to detail and commitment to following checklists and SOPs exactly. Reliable, punctual, and proactive about cleanliness, organization, and safety. Basic computer/tablet skills (iPad, ShipStation). Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or manufacturing experience preferred. Positive attitude and desire to produce high-quality OEM replica parts for classic car enthusiasts.
