Shipping/Receiving Clerk

We are looking for a reliable and detail‑oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk for a company in the London, KY area. This position plays a key role in warehouse operations by handling incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting daily logistics. Responsibilities Manage all shipping and receiving operations , including processing incoming freight and preparing outgoing shipments Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling Verify incoming shipments by checking quantities, inspecting for damage, and matching items to purchase orders Prepare shipping documents such as labels, packing slips, and bills of lading Pick and pack orders accurately for customers or production Update inventory records, log materials, and report discrepancies Operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts and scanners Organize staging areas for incoming and outgoing freight Communicate with carriers, drivers, and internal departments Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment Qualifications Previous experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse operations required Ability to operate forklifts or willingness to be trained Strong attention to detail and accuracy Basic computer skills and excel for logging inventory and printing labels Ability to lift and move materials as required Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast‑paced environment
