Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 5:00

PM Pay Rate:

USD 19/hr

Contract:

3 and 1/2 months

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5-10 years of shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience
• Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, hoists, or pump trucks
• Experience as an assembler of mechanical products preferred
• Ability to read and interpret packing specifications and measurements
• Basic computer skills and experience with barcode systems
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and ship products according to shipping orders and documentation
• Complete bills of lading and related shipping paperwork
• Pack materials using appropriate containers and packing materials
• Interpret packing specifications and determine proper container sizes
• Fabricate wooden crates and apply packaging materials
• Weigh, label, and verify packages for shipment
• Maintain accurate shipping records and obtain receipts from carriers
• Receive and inspect incoming materials for accuracy against purchase orders
• Identify and report discrepancies in shipments
• Record inventory data into computer systems and apply barcode labels
• Operate material handling equipment to move materials
