Job Description

Shop helper is responsible for getting tools, supplies, picking up parts as needed, and anything else mechanic requests while working on jobs in shop. Shop helper will also work in shop, performing oil changes occasionally, cleaning shop of trash, debris and oil spills. This position requires after hour work pressure washing customer vehicles at their location two to three days out of the week. Shop helper will also keep up with lawn maintenance, as well as keep up with building maintenance on a daily basis. SThis position also requires candidate to be on call 24/7 with every other weekend off. Previous mechanic experience is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent is required along with a clean driving record.
