Shop Technician

SUMMARY:

As a Shop Technician for Southwest JCB, you will be an integral service department member.

Responsibilities :

Duties and responsibilities are subject to change based on business needs and at management's discretion. Diagnose and repair equipment and components. Properly source and order parts to get the repair fixed the first correctly . Work in a shop environment on various JCB machines. Perform preventative maintenance on JCB equipment in a shop environment as directed. Communicate the progress of repairs with the Service Manager and the customer to ensure top customer satisfaction. Use of company vehicles and special tooling properly, including maintaining all company-owned assets in a clean and safe manner Completing all paperwork promptly, including work orders, parts orders, time, etc. Adhere to all company policies and procedures. Other duties and projects are assigned by direct management.

Education/Additional Requirements :

A minimum of 5 years of experience repairing and maintaining construction equipment. A high school diploma or equivalent and basic math skills. Computer literate with the ability to process information. Ability to communicate, prioritize, and maintain time management. Capable of accomplishing tasks independently without direct supervision. Physically able to perform duties and lift up to 75 lbs. Maintain a great attitude toward work. Adheres to company policies, procedures, and practices as required. Acceptable driving record. A history of safe work habits. Driven, self-motivated, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Valid Drivers License/Acceptable Driving Record.
