Shop Technician - Industrial Pressure Washer Systems

BCE Cleaning Systems manufactures and distributes commercial and industrial-grade pressure washing equipment and accessories throughout the U.S. We work with contractors, municipalities, and businesses that rely on dependable cleaning systems for professional operations. We're looking for a reliable, organized, and hands-on shop mechanic to build pressure washing systems and trailer packages for our customers. This is a hands-on shop position focused on assembly, fabrication, troubleshooting, and preparing equipment for delivery. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays close attention to detail, and cares about building clean, dependable, high-quality equipment.

Key responsibilities:

Build and assemble commercial pressure washing systems and trailer packages from the ground up Install and connect pumps, engines, burners, tanks, hose reels, plumbing, batteries, and electrical components Mount equipment securely onto skid units and trailers Perform plumbing, wiring, drilling, cutting, and general mechanical assembly work Read and follow build sheets, layouts, and assembly instructions Test equipment and ensure all systems are operating properly before delivery Keep work areas clean, organized, and efficient Assist with welding, fabrication, and general shop work as needed Operate shop fabrication equipment including CNC cutting table and related fabrication tools Assist with powder coating, part preparation, finishing, and final equipment appearance

Qualifications:

Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on shop experience Patient, detail-oriented, and focused on doing the job correctly the first time (measure twice and cut once … ) Takes pride in quality workmanship and overall craftsmanship Organized, clean, and able to maintain an efficient workspace Reliable, dependable, and consistent Comfortable working with tools, plumbing, wiring, pumps, engines, and trailers Able to work independently while following instructions and production standards Welding and metal fabrication experience is a plus Previous experience with pressure washers, small engines, trailers, or industrial equipment preferred

Pay:

$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
