Shop Welder

IMPORTANT

The weld test must be conducted at our main shop in Portage, UT. The work will be at the shop in Preston, ID. We are looking for motivated welders with preferred experience in SMAW, GMAW, and FCAW. This shop will be fabricating handrail and stairs . The weld test is a 1G flat metal core test, or a handrail test. Please prepare yourself with your own tools for the weld test. (Safety glasses, FR shirt, welding helmet, and gloves) •If you do not pass your weld test, we are willing to train the correct candidate who is eager and motivated to learn on a probationary period.

Preston, Idaho Pay:

$18-$26 per hour depending on experience

Schedule:

Full-time 40 hours/week, Monday through Friday, weekends as needed. Overtime if we exceed 40 hrs/week. Job includes but is not limited to- welding, grinding, reading blueprints, and fabricating. Must have a strong understanding of safety protocols. Must be able to lift 50 lbs Must have reliable transportation Must be able to walk, squat, kneel, and stand for long periods of time 1 year of welding experience.

Preferred Experience:

SMAW, GMAW, and FCAW Blueprint reading
