Short Order Cook/Line Cook

We are looking for a skilled dependable Cook to prepare timely and delicious meals according to menu. Our menu includes full lunch and dinner options, plus breakfast on the weekends. You will be expected to be able to follow instructions, to be deft in moving around the kitchen and apt in multi-tasking. Experience in using various ingredients and cooking techniques is also important. Our goal is to help preserve and enhance our reputation so we can expand our clientele. Salary is negotiable. We work towards shift flexibility.

Responsibilities Include:

Setting up workstations with necessary ingredients and cooking equipment Preparing ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.) Cooking and plating food in various utensils and styles: grilling, boiling, etc Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen Ensure all food and other items are stored properly. Check quality of ingredients Monitor stock and recommend when to place orders when there are shortages Excellent physical condition and stamina, able to lift/move up to 50lbs Very good communication skills, work within a team and on your own High school diploma or equivalent Willingness to pull extended or extra shifts, is a plus
