Shower Door Installer/Field Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shower Door Installer/Field Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining shower doors and related fixtures at various customer locations. Your expertise will ensure that each installation meets high-quality standards, providing customers with functional and aesthetically pleasing bathroom upgrades. Duties Install, adjust, and repair shower doors, glass panels, and hardware according to project specifications and schematics Read blueprints and schematics to accurately interpret installation requirements Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble components on-site Perform heavy lifting of glass panels and fixtures safely while adhering to safety protocols Conduct caulking, sealing, and trim carpentry to ensure water-tight installations Measure spaces precisely to ensure proper fitment of shower enclosures and related fixtures Fabricate custom parts or modify existing components as needed for optimal fit and function Collaborate with clients, project managers, and team members to coordinate installation schedules and address site-specific challenges Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly Qualifications Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, or related fields such as manufacturing or remodeling Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, metal stud framing, carpentry, fixture installation, cabinet installation, frame carpentry, door hanging, handyman tasks, construction painting, schematics interpretation, and assembly Strong knowledge of glass installation techniques and caulking methods Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various construction site settings Excellent problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail Prior experience with remodeling projects or construction site work is highly desirable Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred Join us if you're eager to bring your craftsmanship to life through hands-on work that transforms spaces!
