Shuttle Driver and Kayak Loader

Baldy Shores Kayaking is looking for "The Member" to join our team. Enjoy shuttling and assisting paddlers on their kayaking adventure throughout the National Forest via the Indian River, in the heart of Michigan's Upper Peninsula!

• 25/hour NO CDL needed for Shuttle Driving responsibilities Safely operate our mini School Bus, transporting paddlers on their scheduled kayaking trips.

Maintain presentation of shuttle bus along with optimizing customer service. (Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record). Load and dispense kayaks and paddles using our custom kayak trailers. Assist paddlers with the kayak, paddle and life vest to help initiate their kayaking trip. Maintain presentation and organization of kayak equipment, as well as a helpful presence. Assist with in-person marketing material distribution, digital marketing promotions and group experiences. Responsibilities will be based on the strengths of each candidate and discussed in detail upon hiring. Must have a strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately, in addition to excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Need the ability to lift objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks. May be required to perform other related duties as assigned by their supervisor, in order to maximize the safety, quality and experience of the paddlers as well as promote Baldy Shores Kayaking.
