Position Description:

Shuttle Driver (Looking for CDL w/passenger endorsement and non-CDL)

Introduction:

Provide transportation for residents and guests.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Transport residents and guests within a fifteen (15) passenger van. Ensure applicable federal, state, county, and city traffic laws are obeyed. Capable of operating a vehicle during inclement weather. Ensure the vehicle is appropriately fueled. Ensure the vehicle appearance and sanitation is maintained professional, both internally and externally. Assists all passengers for the purpose of safe loading and unloading from the van during normal transport as well as in emergency situations (including van evacuations). Attends company safety meetings and training for the purpose of maintaining and improving skills. Performs routine vehicle maintenance inspections for ensuring safe operating conditions of the vehicle and reports maintenance issues or concerns to the Manager. Prepares documentation such as incident reports, inspections, passenger misconduct, and mileage.

Work Environment:

Work week is typically 6 days (Monday to Saturday) Operating hours typically occur between 5:00 am and 8:00 pm, with limited earlier and later extensions. Occasional special event coverage may be necessary at the discretion of the manager. Entitled to one fifteen (15) minute paid break per five (5) hour shift. Entitled to a thirty (30) minute unpaid break for lunch per eight and a half (8.5) hour shift. Required to maintain a neat and professional appearance, as per Uniform policy . Position requires performance of the following physical demands: occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling. Generally, the position requires 75% sitting, 20% walking, and 5% standing. The duties are performed under minimal hazardous conditions.

Employment Requirements:

Must have an open availability. Must posses a valid State of Florida Driver's License. Looking for CDL w/passenger endorcement and non-CDL) Maintain excellent driving record. High School diploma or equivalent Must be 25 for vehicle insurance coverage. Proficient spoken and written English. Punctual, meticulous, reliable, as well as courteous manners with the public . Maintain CPR, Defensive Driving and PASS certifications.

Training:

Paid Training - First Aid / CPR, Defensive Driving and PASS training.
