Responsibilities Measure, cut, and install siding materials accurately according to project specifications and blueprints. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary primers or sealants to ensure proper adhesion. Operate power tools and hand tools safely to complete siding installation tasks efficiently. Collaborate with team members and project managers to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high quality standards. Inspect completed work for quality assurance, ensuring all siding is securely attached and visually aligned. Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment on construction sites. Assist with other exterior finishing tasks such as caulking, trim carpentry, or stucco application as needed. Requirements Proven experience in siding installation or related construction roles with a strong understanding of construction site procedures. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and fabrication techniques relevant to siding installation. Knowledge of construction management principles, estimating processes, and inspection standards is preferred. Familiarity with various siding materials including vinyl, fiber cement, wood, or stucco. Experience with related trades such as roofing, carpentry (frame carpentry, door hanging), masonry, or restoration is a plus. Strong physical stamina for working at heights and lifting heavy materials; comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
