Join our growing team as a Sign Installation & Service Technician for La Crosse Sign Group and help bring brands to life across the Greater La Crosse area. We're looking for reliable, hardworking individuals from all backgrounds who have a construction mindset, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.   • we'll support your training and certification as part of your career growth with us.
What You'll Do:
Install, maintain, and service a wide variety of interior and exterior signs Operate tools, lifts, and equipment (including bucket trucks and cranes once trained) Work at heights and in varying weather conditions Read blueprints, follow instructions, and collaborate with project managers Travel locally for job sites (home most nights
  • a handful of overnight trips per year)
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience in construction, electrical, or general trades preferred Comfort working at heights and outdoors year-round Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work as part of a team Valid driver's license (CDL not required at time of hire) Willingness to obtain CDL and crane certification (company-paid training)

Working Conditions:
Operates in a demanding, fast-paced, people-oriented environment with routine exposure to dirt, noise, temperature variance, variable weather conditions, chemicals, and solvents. Works primarily on ladders, scaffolding or aerial lifts that can range from 20' to over 100' above ground. Deadline pressure is an integral part of the job with the potential for managing multiple project assignments. Works with a variety of people including vendors, customers, employees, and leadership.
Required Work Schedule:
Work hours are generally during normal operational hours 6:00am to 4:00pm Monday-Thursday with variable hours on Fridays, and an average of at least 40 hours a week. The ability to work overtime, travel overnight and out-of-town is required. There may be small variations in work hours due to special projects, changes in installation schedule to meet customer deadlines, training new and existing staff, and responding to critical service calls.
Physical Requirements:
Will alternate walking, sitting, and standing throughout work shift. Ability to work in a variety of positions including, but not limited to kneeling, crouching, bending, twisting, turning, and climbing. Must be able to climb and stand on a ladder for periods of time. Ability to lift and carry 50pounds at times during the shift. There is regular use of the keyboard, tablets and telephone. Requires the ability to receive detailed information through verbal communication. Vision acuity corrected to 20/40.
