Sign & Print CAD / Graphic Designer ROEDA Inc. - Lynwood, IL (On-Site) ROEDA Inc. is a third-generation, family-owned leader in signs and print for over 70 years. We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented CAD / Graphic Designer to support our Sales, Project Management, and Production teams through the development of sign layouts, customer proofs, and production-ready drawing packages. Pay Range Starting at $22-30/hr (Based on relevant education, experience, technical skillset, and industry background) Job Responsibilities Create professional sign concepts, layouts, mock-ups, and customer proofs for a variety of signage and print projects Develop finalized proof drawings and technical layouts from site surveys, field measurements, and Project Manager markups Prepare scaled CAD-style drawings, elevation layouts, placement drawings, and production-ready artwork packages Assist with artwork preparation for digital print, CNC routing, fabrication, and installation workflows Revise drawings and proofs based on customer feedback, production requirements, and field conditions Interpret site photos, sketches, dimensions, and specification notes to create accurate visual layouts Coordinate closely with Sales, Estimating, Project Management, Production, and Installation teams throughout project development Ensure files are organized, accurate, and meet company production standards for sizing, color, bleed, cut paths, and layout structure Support permitting layouts, sign location plans, and customer presentation packages when required Help identify design, production, or installation concerns before projects move into manufacturing Qualifications Experience in graphic design, sign design, CAD drafting, or related fields preferred Proficiency with: Adobe Illustrator Adobe Photoshop CAD or technical drawing software Understanding of sign fabrication, wide-format print, and production workflows preferred Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills Ability to interpret measurements, sketches, site surveys, and technical notes Ideal Candidate Creative with strong technical accuracy Comfortable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Team-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities Able to balance customer-facing design with real-world production requirements Benefits Health Insurance Options PTO & Paid Holidays 401(k) Options (if applicable) On-the-Job Training Long-term Career Growth Opportunities ROEDA Inc. is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
