Signal Integrity Engineer (New Grad)
Location:
Yocumtown, PA (Onsite ) Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS) , a division of Amphenol Corporation, is a world leader in interconnect solutions for Communications, Mobile, RF, Optics, and Commercial electronics markets. Amphenol Corporation is one of the world's largest designers and manufacturers of electrical, electronic and fiber optic connectors and interconnect systems, antennas, sensors, sensor-based products and coaxial and high-speed specialty cable. ACS has an expansive global presence in research and development, manufacturing, and sales. We design and manufacture a wide range of innovative connectors as well as cable assemblies for diverse applications, including server, storage, data center, mobile, RF, networking, industrial, business equipment, and automotive. Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high-speed, high-bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEM's globally.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the design, simulation, and testing of high-speed electrical connectors and cable-based interconnects Assist in component development and contribute to new product introduction activities Work collaboratively with signal integrity engineers and cross-functional teams to learn and apply best practices Participate in knowledge sharing and continuous improvement of engineering methods and workflows Contribute to the development of next-generation high-speed I/O interconnect products Help troubleshoot and provide solutions for customer applications related to high-speed data transmission Partner with Sales Engineers to support product adoption at existing and new customer accounts Assist in identifying and resolving signal integrity issues in PCB layouts under guidance Support the design, build, and testing of circuit boards for product validation and measurement Apply fundamentals of circuit theory, signal integrity, and PCB layout principles to high-speed digital design tasks ________________________________________
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering. Foundational understanding of electromagnetic principles and signal integrity concepts Exposure (through coursework, internships, or projects) to high-speed design, connectors, or communication systems is a plus Familiarity with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, TDR, or VNA through academic labs or internships Basic experience or coursework using simulation/analysis tools such as Ansys, CST, HSPICE, MATLAB, or ADS is preferred Hands-on project or lab experience involving circuit design, testing, or characterization. Strong willingness to learn, problem-solve, and work in a collaborative team environment. #LI-PG2
