Simulation Engineer

Simulation Engineer needed to develop, calibrate, validate, analyze, and deploy 1D and vehicle simulation methods for thermal, controls, plant modeling, and vehicle dynamics applications. Job Requirements BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Related advanced degree may substitute for 2 years of experience Minimum of 2 years of industry experience as a CAE Analyst or Simulation Engineer Experience with 1D thermal systems simulation, 1D vehicle dynamics simulation, controls and plant modeling, multi-body dynamics vehicle simulation, or integrated systems simulations Minimum of 2 years of experience using 1D system simulation software Experience with simulation tools such as GT-SUITE, Siemens Amesim, MATLAB, Simulink, Simscape, CarSim, or CarMaker Experience with MBD tools such as Simpack, Adams, or

Experience developing simulation models from construction through analysis Experience with simulation model calibration and validation Coding or scripting experience for automation, pre-processing, post-processing, and data analysis Preferred Skills Experience developing simulation methodologies for end-user deployment Vehicle dynamics simulation experience Thermal management simulation experience Experience with integrated systems simulation Experience using Python, MATLAB, or Java for workflow automation Experience supporting simulation-based engineering decisions Experience building reusable simulation workflows, templates, or methods Job Responsibilities Develop simulation models for 1D thermal systems, vehicle dynamics, controls, plant modeling, multi-body dynamics, or integrated systems Construct, calibrate, validate, and analyze simulation models Use 1D simulation software and MBD tools to support engineering analysis Develop simulation methods and workflows for deployment to end users Automate simulation workflows, pre-processing, post-processing, and data analysis using coding or scripting tools Analyze simulation results and provide data to support engineering decisions Support vehicle dynamics and thermal management simulation activities Improve simulation methods, model quality, and analysis efficiency Document simulation assumptions, methods, validation results, and analysis findings

Pay:
