The Site Safety Project Manager is responsible for supporting occupational health and safety during complex construction activities. This role ensures the safe execution of field and project work while meeting or exceeding client expectations. The Site Safety Project Manager will work with a diverse client base including private industry, utilities, municipalities, school districts, universities, and government agencies. Key Responsibilities Serve as Site Health & Safety Officer on environmental remediation and construction projects Monitor contractor compliance with site-specific Health & Safety Plans (HASPs), specifications, and regulatory requirements Deliver daily safety toolbox talks in conjunction with morning tail gate meetings. On-board site personnel and sub-contractors by reviewing the Site-Specific HASP and owner requirements and provide site briefings to visitors and personnel who missed the morning tailgate meeting. Prepare Lift Plans with the participation of the equipment operator Observe site activities to identify and resolve unsafe conditions such as personal protective equipment issues, potential for struck by and caught between hazards, falls from heights, etc. Maintain safety equipment such as fire extinguishers, first aid kits, AED, etc. Record safety documentation and maintain key safety metrics Mentor and coach site personnel in occupational health and safety principles. Ensure equipment is properly calibrated and maintained Conduct routine inspections (fire extinguishers, eyewash stations, hazardous materials areas) Participate in EH&S audits and track corrective actions Maintain accurate, organized project files and documentation Maintain knowledge of OSHA and other safety standards Work safely at all times and promote a culture of safety Client & Team Collaboration Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams regarding scheduling, reporting, and project coordination Support development and delivery of H&S training programs and compliance documentation General Responsibilities / Attributes Demonstrate professionalism, ethical conduct, and reliability Maintain confidentiality of company and client information Care for company equipment and resources Work overtime as required by client needs Travel and stay overnight as needed for project assignments Perform additional duties as assigned Problem-solving and analytical thinking Strong organizational and time management skills Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities Team collaboration and interpersonal effectiveness Qualifications Associate's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field is desirable Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to pass medical evaluation Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excell Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) Ability to respond in emergency response situations Ability to travel and work extended assignments when required Ability to work in various environmental and field conditions Personal Attributes Honest and ethical Dependable and accountable Professional demeanor and appearance Strong work ethic and commitment to client service Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Creative and proactive problem solver Professional Development & Certifications Maintain certifications, such as :HAZWOPER OSHA
