The Home Builders Institute (HBI) is currently seeking qualified and motivated instructors for our Bamberg, SC location. Selected candidates will deliver hands-on training and classroom instruction that emphasize proper technique, safety, and attention to details; essential skills for successful trades professionals. Open Positions Building Construction Technology Instructor (Req. 1621) Plumbing Instructor (Req. 1616) Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Instruct program participants in trade skills using approved curriculum Develop curriculum and support training materials as needed Coordinate hands-on training activities, including on-site and community-based projects Demonstrate proper use of tools and equipment with a strong emphasis on safety Monitor, coach, and mentor trainees Recommend students for job placement opportunities Possess strong oral and written communication skills Education and Experience Requirements Building Construction Technology Instructor Ability to meet Career Technical Training requirements, including a High School Diploma or equivalent Combination of work experience, education, and/or skills equivalent to journey-level experience in Carpentry, Electrical, HVAC, or Plumbing Plumbing Instructor Ability to meet Career Technical Training requirements, including a High School Diploma or equivalent Combination of work experience, education, and/or skills equivalent to journey-level experience in Plumbing How to Apply Interested candidates are encouraged to apply online at www.hbi.org .
