What SkillsUSA does & Essential functions: Students join through their school's chapter and can participate in: Hands-on competitions (called "championships") in areas like welding, automotive repair, healthcare, IT, construction, culinary arts, and more Leadership development programs that build communication, teamwork, and professionalism Conferences and events at the state and national level Community service projects The organization is built around a framework of personal, workplace, and technical skills—things like integrity, work ethic, adaptability, and accountability.
