Job Description

Category Schools - SLP - CFY Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting early learners as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. This position focuses on a manageable caseload of kindergarten through second-grade students, with a handful of third graders. You'll be instrumental in helping young children strengthen their communication abilities, ensuring they have the foundation they need for academic and personal success.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Holds a valid license as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Massachusetts Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply, as well as those with CCC credentials Experience in a school setting or a strong desire to work with K-3 populations Knowledge of IEP development and progress monitoring Excellent interpersonal skills and collaborative spirit
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and create individualized treatment plans tailored to elementary students Provide direct therapy to students in small groups or one-on-one, addressing speech, language, and communication challenges Collaborate with teachers and other educational professionals to support student learning goals Document progress and maintain records in compliance with school and state requirements Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams Offer guidance to families regarding at-home support strategies This contract role empowers you to make a meaningful difference at a pivotal point in early education, working closely with staff committed to student well-being.
