Job Description

Category Schools - SLP - CFY Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting young learners as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist in a collaborative educational setting near Brookline, MA. This assignment focuses on engaging and inspiring a caseload comprised primarily of kindergarten through second grade students, along with a handful of third graders. Your expertise helps students strengthen their communication abilities, fostering academic progress and personal growth.
Ideal Background & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Valid state licensure or eligibility in Massachusetts SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply Previous experience in a schools-based setting preferred Solid understanding of therapy best practices for students K-3 Strong collaboration skills to partner with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Exceptional organizational and communication abilities
You Will:
Assess, diagnose, and provide targeted speech and language therapy for K-2 students, with occasional work with third graders Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs Monitor student progress and maintain precise, timely documentation Consult with teachers and participate in IEP meetings to support classroom success Educate and empower families and caregivers to carry over interventions at home Engage in a supportive, collegial environment focused on student achievement This contract position offers the chance to positively impact young learners' lives while expanding your professional expertise in a rewarding school setting.
