Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Embark on a rewarding contract assignment supporting K-12 students in a dynamic school environment near Merrillville, IN for the 26/27 academic year. We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist who is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of young learners. This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively within a close-knit team, focusing solely on providing therapy services while a separate clinician conducts all evaluations.
Qualifications:
Valid Indiana Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) License required Previous experience working with K-12 students in school settings preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities Dedication to supporting diverse learners and tailoring services to individual needs
Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 85-90 students Work closely with educators, parents, and support staff to implement IEPs and facilitate student progress Maintain accurate records of student sessions, progress, and communication Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights when necessary Focus on direct therapy, with no evaluation duties required This contract position runs for the full school year, with a schedule of 37.5 hours per week across five days.
