Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an essential role supporting students' communication and language development! We're seeking a skilled professional with a background in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) to provide impactful services in a school-based setting near Quakertown, PA. You'll partner with educators and families to help students overcome challenges and realize their full academic and social potential.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Active state licensure (or eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology Previous experience working with children in a school environment Strong collaboration and communication abilities Skilled in both assessment and treatment planning for a range of speech and language disorders Adaptability and creativity in delivering student-centered interventions
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) specific to student needs Deliver evidence-based direct and consultative SLP services within the school environment Maintain detailed documentation and contribute to IEP meetings with insight and recommendations Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to foster student growth Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary Offer support and resources to staff regarding speech and language strategies
