Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an opportunity to make a real difference as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist supporting extended school year (ESY) students. Schools near the Taylor, PA area are seeking a skilled provider with experience as an SLP and SLP-CCC to deliver quality services for students in need. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in helping students strengthen their communication abilities over the summer session.
Ideal background and qualifications:
Current and valid SLP license Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Experience working in a school-based setting preferred Knowledge of ESY (Extended School Year) programming is a plus Ability to assess, diagnose, and implement individualized treatment plans Strong collaboration skills for working with educators, parents, and other professionals Commitment to fostering an encouraging and inclusive learning environment Key responsibilities include: Conducting speech and language assessments for ESY students Creating and maintaining individualized education plans (IEPs) Providing direct therapeutic services in both group and individual settings Monitoring student progress and updating goals accordingly Collaborating with educational staff to support overall student development Maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with school and federal guidelines This contract assignment offers flexibility, the chance to expand your professional network, and the satisfaction of positively impacting students' academic and social success.
