Job Description

We strive to Welcome and listen—ensuring every military woman who reaches out is met with dignity, compassion, and a personalized intake process that helps us understand her unique needs. Connect and guide each woman to the right partners, resources, or services—whether she seeks healing from trauma, job training, housing, transportation, food security, childcare, relationship support, peer connection, or access to VA benefits and healthcare. Educate the public, service providers, and policymakers about the often-overlooked experiences and needs of women in the military—during and after service. Advocate for systems change that prioritizes gender-specific, trauma-informed, and holistic care for all women who serve or have served. Empower women to reclaim their identity, rebuild their lives, and thrive—no matter where they are on their military or post-military journey. Through unwavering support, expert guidance, and heartfelt advocacy, we stand united in our commitment to ensure that no military woman fights her invisible battles alone. Together, we will forge a path towards healing, resilience, and a future where every military woman can live life to her fullest potential. ,  Help create and maintain a social media plan  Use social media to promote the activities and achievements of Invisible Warriors  Keeping our social media channels updated on a frequent basis  Encouraging others to comment on our posts and share them with others  Ensure that communication reaches a wide range of local stakeholders and diverse audience  Develop and manage content for our social media, such as Twitter, Facebook & Linkedin  Take part in teleconference meetings with committee members  Track the effectiveness of our social media work and recommend ways forward  Test content and review its impact  Keeping up to date with events and news, and choosing what to promote through our social media feeds  Ability to develop publicity materials is an asset  Visiting our projects and attend our events with a view to writing articles about them if possible Show more Show less
