As a CBRE Occupancy Planning Senior Manager, you will lead ateam dedicated to space planning. Your primary responsibilities will includedata mining, generating reports, and interpreting key metrics to address clientrequirements. This onsite role, based in the Phoenix area, is integral tothe Moves, Additions, and Changes function, which oversees building spacedesign, construction, and moving services. What You'll Do Lead and develop the Occupancy Planning team, providing direct people leadership including performance management, coaching, training, recruiting, and onboarding while fostering a high-performing, collaborative culture. Oversee day-to-day OP operations and delivery, setting priorities, assigning work, establishing schedules and deadlines, ensuring appropriate resourcing and cross-training, and maintaining accountability to client and departmental commitments. Serve as a trusted advisor to the client, building strong client relationships and partnering to develop occupancy and real estate strategies, forecasts, and benchmarks that identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Translate business requirements into actionable space plans by leading client interviews and workshops, synthesizing functional, operational, and cultural needs, and delivering recommendations including conceptual plans, block and stack plans, charters, move lists, and sequencing strategies. Oversee the production of complex analyses, drawings, and presentations for senior internal stakeholders and client-facing steering committees, coordinating with Project Management, Change Management, and Move/Construction teams as needed. Ensure accuracy and integrity of occupancy data and planning assumptions by leading space walks, validating move plans and destination availability, and maintaining data within the system of record. Drive continuous improvement across OP processes and standards, establishing performance objectives and deliverables, improving methods and tools, and implementing space planning standards, code updates, and policy changes. Anticipate and solve complex, multi-dimensional challenges, influencing stakeholders to adopt new perspectives while operating within established policies and broader organizational objectives. Support successful outcomes beyond delivery, facilitating post-occupancy reviews to confirm execution quality and ensure client expectations are met.What You'll Need:
Bachelor's Degreepreferred with 5 - 8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, acombination of experience and education will be considered. Experience in theareas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring,measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred. Ability to lead theexchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, conveyperformance expectations and handle problems. Leadership skills tomotivate the team to achieve broad operational targets with impacts on own jobdiscipline, multiple job disciplines, and department. In-depth knowledgeof Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Extensiveorganizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset. Intermediate mathskills. Ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages,fractions, and other financial-related calculations. Proficient with MSOffice Suite (Outlook, Powerpoint & Excel) andCAD/CAFM
