Supervise and motivate employees, train and develop team members as well as conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and address any issues. Train and develop team members. Supervise and coordinate day-to-day planning activities and a team of planners or analysts. Develop, implement, and monitor production, supply chain, or operational plans. Review forecasts, capacity, and resource constraints to create accurate and actionable plans. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, procurement, and operations to align plans with organizational objectives. Monitor performance against plans and initiate corrective actions to meet targets. Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities in planning processes. Prepare and present planning reports, KPIs, and recommendations to senior leadership. Maintain and improve planning systems, tools, processes and procedures. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and relevant regulations. Other duties as assigned. How to thrive in this role? Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Urban Planning, or related field. 3-5 years of experience in planning, scheduling, or a related field, including 1-2 years in a supervisory or lead role. Proficient in planning software (e.g., SAP, Maximo, Oracle, MS Project, or other planning tools). Proficient in Office365 Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) & PowerBI Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPIM, PMP, AICP). Experience with lean or continuous improvement initiatives. Familiarity with forecasting tools or predictive analytics.
