Use the Job ID based on the Position Location as follows Location Job ID 810 Datura Street, WPB 35267 This is highly responsible professional and supervisory work reviewing, coordinating, and implementing the Department's planning, research, and evaluation services. Responsible for data analysis, implementation, and integration across multiple programs and systems that support the tactical and strategic efforts required to achieve departmental goals. Work activities include supervision of the Department's planning and staff evaluation and oversight of processes used to set standards and criteria for the evaluation of program performance, including the preparation of the Health and Human Service Element of the Comprehensive Plan. Assists community-wide funding partners in the areas of health and human services policy formulation and implementation, including community organizational planning and programming. Provides direction to the Palm Beach County (PBC) Citizens Advisory Committee on Health and Human Services (CAC/HHS) on aligning services based on trends and data collection. Responsible for developing and evaluating strategic priorities across multiple domains and leading institutional leaders across multiple systems towards shared goals and indicators. Assists with the implementation of the data warehouse and the Opportunity PBC Initiative. Work requires considerable contact with other social services agencies, public officials, civic groups, and the general public. Work is performed under the supervision of the Director of Community Services and is reviewed through conferences, reports, and evaluation of results obtained.
QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires qualified applicants to possess one of the following: A Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration, Planning, Social Science, or closely related field; minimum of five (5) years of experience in health and human services program planning, research, and evaluation, which includes two (2) years of related supervisory experience, OR An unrelated Bachelor's Degree; minimum of six (6) years of experience in health and human services program planning, research, and evaluation, which includes two (2) years of related supervisory experience, OR An Associate's Degree; minimum of seven (7) years of experience in health and human services program planning, research, and evaluation, which includes two (2) years of related supervisory experience, OR Graduation from high school or an equivalent recognized certification; minimum of nine (9) years of experience in health and human services program planning, research, and evaluation, which includes two (2) years of related supervisory experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred qualifications include (must specify on application) : Experience with needs assessment process and reporting, Experience working with data warehouse, Experience developing indicators and measuring system performance, Experience with Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) analysis, strategic planning, and annual report preparation, Experience working with Geographical Information System (GIS), public health planning, system of care, and data collection and analysis, including survey development and administration, and Experience with comprehensive planning process and reporting, including action plan development, implementation, and tracking.
