This role is pivotal in ensuring flawless financial record-keeping and reporting, all while maintaining our ambitious standards of compliance with GAAP and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. As a key contributor in our organization, you will coordinate our capital planning, fixed asset accounting, and rebillable tooling and program management. You will actively engage in Dauch's budgeting and forecasting processes, making a significant impact on our financial performance.
Job Description:
Oversight of the Capital Appropriation Process for the global business unit Argument evaluation and analysis to ensure thoroughness and accurate assessment according to established process and company standards. Lead capital expenditure and rebillable tooling budgets and forecasts for the global business unit Implement and manage plant capex productivity tracking Collaborate with manufacturing locations to gain insights into changes and actual variances to plans Preparing reports and projections based on this analysis Closing open review questions from budgets, forecasts, and actual performance meetings and reviews in a timely manner Be responsible for regional fixed asset administration related to in-service and end of life activity, depreciation & amortization budgets and forecasts Supervise and review plant fixed asset activity ensuring policy compliance Evaluating current capital expenditures and depreciation Required Skills and Education Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, or closely related field 10+ years professional experience 5+ years Managing a team Proven ability to work effectively with non-finance associates at all levels of the organization Proficient with Microsoft office products -
