  • Full-time Are you a proven manager looking to lead an active, established comprehensive planning organization in one of the most beautiful and dynamic areas of the country?
If so, the West Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission (WCWRPC) wants you to join our team as its next Executive Director! West Central Wisconsin is a seven-county region adjacent to the Minneapolis-St. Paul Metropolitan Area that includes several university and technical college campuses. The WCWRPC is a statutorily-created multidisciplinary planning agency located in Eau Claire, Wisconsin

  • responsible for assisting local governments in the region with economic development, community development, transportation, housing and comprehensive planning needs.
WCWRPC has a staff of 14 and a well-established track record of regional success and financial stability. To guide the organization's future, the Commission seeks an individual with a broad understanding of as well as a specific background in management, personnel supervision, program/project planning, and public relations. Candidates should have experience working with economic/community development, land use/comprehensive planning, and transportation projects. Candidates should also possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Planning, or a related field as well as a minimum of five years of experience.
