Economic Analyst Other United States Description The Manhattan Strategy Group (MSG) LLC, a rapidly growing management consulting firm, is seeking Economic Analyst for an upcoming opportunity.
MSG provides consulting services across the federal government in the areas of training and technical assistance, grants management, research and evaluation, marketing and communications, program management, and information technology. Our federal clients include the U.S. Departments of Labor, Education, Health and Human Services, Agriculture, Justice, and Homeland Security. The Economic Analyst will support analytical efforts related to workforce program performance, financial activity, and economic trends impacting the UI system.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct economic and statistical analysis on UI program data
Support trend analysis across claims, payments, and adjudication outcomes
Assist in evaluating program performance and operational efficiency
Contribute to analytical reports, briefs, and dashboards
Support improper payment and financial analysis activities
Assist in identifying policy and programmatic implications of findings
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in economics, data analytics, or related field
Experience with statistical tools (R, Python, SAS, etc.)
Familiarity with workforce or unemployment insurance programs preferred
Strong analytical and research skills
