- What You'll Be Doing
- Cadmus is seeking an experienced economist and demand response expert to join its Energy Sector team.
- Who We Are
- Cadmus provides government, commercial, and other private organizations worldwide with technology-empowered advisory and implementation services.
- Responsibilities
- + Lead and guide research, primary and secondary data collection, statistical and micro-econometric data analysis, and reporting tasks to support consulting engagements with energy utility clients, including projects related to demand response, EV managed charging, distributed energy resources, battery storage and virtual power plants, industrial strategic energy efficiency, and dynamic pricing.
- Qualifications
- + BA/BS in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or other related quantitative fields AND 7 to 9 years of relevant professional experience
OR + MA/MS
in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or other related quantitative fields with 5 to 7 years relevant professional experience OR + PhD in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or other related quantitative fields with 2 to 5 years relevant professional experience. + Professional experience with statistical software programs such as R, Python, SAS, or Stata. + Familiarity with or work experience in the electricity sector and/or utility industry. + Demonstrated experience with inferential statistics, specifically sampling and research design, statistical analysis, and regression analysis. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Strong organizational and time-management skills with high attention to detail. + Initiative and ability to prioritize and take ownership of assignments, including adapting to changes in a fast-paced, time-sensitive, deliverable driven workplace. + Desire to grow professionally and take on challenging work assignments. + Strong critical thinking and analytical skills. + Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word and Excel.Desired Qualifications:
- + Prior consulting experience. + Applied research design experience in academic or professional setting. + Experience with Databricks and Microsoft Azure .
