Responsibilities Create various financial analyses, including valuations and merger and consequences. Perform comprehensive and in-depth company and industry financial research. Interact with deal team members. Prepare presentation and other materials for clients. Participate in due diligence sessions and client meetings. Handle several projects at once and work effectively as an individual and as part of a team. Execute and advise on various M&A, initial public offerings, follow-ons, mandatory convertibles and exchangeable debt offerings, spin offs/split offs, debtfor
  • equity exchanges, recapitalizations, and private placements.
Develop and maintain financial models to analyze trends, including discounted cash flow, leverage buyout, cost of capital analysis, merger models, ability-to-pay, value creation, and operating models. Perform comprehensive valuation analysis using comparable companies and precedent transactions. Prepare client materials, internal approval memos, and marketing documents such as roadshow materials, confidential information memorandums, and rating agency presentations to execute transactions. Conduct research using Factset, Capital IQ, Bloomberg, Thomson and Factiva to analyze market data and competitive dynamics. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite. Required Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Applied Mathematics and Statistics, or related: and 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related Finance occupation. Must include 2 years of experience in each of the following: Evaluating diverse datasets including financial statements, market transactions, industry reports, economic indicators (e.g., GDP, inflation), and econometric models to quantify economic damages, assess market competition (antitrust), value businesses (DCF, LBO, comparable comps), and support litigation strategies or M&A/transaction rationale; Interfacing with client personnel (legal counsel, C-suite executives, internal deal teams), opposing experts, data providers, and third-party advisors to gather critical information, validate assumptions, present interim findings, and manage expectations throughout project/deal lifecycles; Conducting data collection, modeling, and due diligence, reviewing expert reports, valuation models, pitch books, and CIM sections, and ensuring methodological rigor, accuracy, and adherence to deadlines; Developing and presenting sophisticated analytical conclusions through clear, compelling narratives; Authoring and refining key deliverables including expert witness reports, litigation exhibits, economic analyses, financial models (operating models, DCF, LBO, accretion/dilution), client presentations, and investment memoranda; and, Translating complex quantitative findings into actionable insights for legal, corporate, and investment audiences. 15% domestic travel as necessary.
