The Senior Director, Evidence Generation will serve as the lead of real-world evidence generation strategy, execution, and partnership across the Xeris commercial and investigational pipeline reporting into the VP, Medical Affairs. This role is a strategic leader responsible for defining, developing and executing integrated evidence generation strategies that demonstrate clinical, economic, and humanistic value of the company's therapies across the product lifecycle. This position is critical for contributing to product lifecycle management and R D pipeline decisions. This role provides scientific, analytical, and operational leadership for health economics, outcomes research, real-world evidence (RWE), patient-reported outcomes (PRO), and comparative effectiveness research initiatives that support market access, reimbursement, regulatory, and clinical decision-making. The Senior Director partners cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Biostatistics, Market Access, Regulatory Affairs, Commercial, Business Development, and external stakeholders to generate high-quality evidence that informs healthcare decision-makers, payers, providers, patients, and policymakers. This role will help define the vision, structure, and capabilities of the Evidence Generation team as this function evolves. Essential Job Functions Develop and execute integrated HEOR and evidence generation strategies and plans across product lifecycle, including portfolio planning and life cycle management activities Foster a culture of scientific excellence, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. In partnership with Medical Affairs Leadership, define the vision, structure, and capabilities of the Evidence Generation team for future state. Identify evidence gaps and prioritize studies to support payer, provider, institution and patient-level decision-making Provide HEOR input into clinical development programs, including endpoint selection and evidence planning. Lead development of economic models, budget impact analyses, cost-effectiveness studies, and value dossiers Oversee generation of comparative effectiveness and burden-of-illness evidence Guide development of patient-reported outcomes and health-related quality-of-life research programs Ensure methodological rigor and scientific validity across all real-world evidence initiatives Ensures projects, initiatives, analyses align with medical and brand strategic plans with cross functional alignment Evaluate and acquire novel data sources to generate actionable evidence Oversee retrospective database analyses, pragmatic trials, and outcomes research studies in partnership with Medical and Scientific Leads and/or external subject matter experts Establish and maintain relationships with external researchers, healthcare decision-makers, and evidence-generation partners. Responsible for strategic and timely communications on execution of plans internally and externally (as identified) leading to successful completion and data disclosure Executive presence and ability to engage with senior leaders in a cross functional setting. Oversee external vendors and partnerships to ensure high quality, high impact, robust outputs Collaborate with Publications and Medical Communications on timely communication and publication of research Ensures HEOR book of work integrates and aligns with the product strategic plans from matrix teams as well as commercial interests. Provides updates on execution of plans to product as well as functional management, owns, then shares project execution decisions. In the development of product strategic plans, he/she liaises with other members of the product team to generate innovative ideas and create buy-in strategies Accountable for end-to-end delivery of HEOR book of work under their remit, from strategy development to content pull through Accountable to ensuring strong partnership with all relevant

Skills and Qualifications PhD, DrPH, ScD, PharmD, MD, or equivalent advanced degree in Health Economics, Outcomes Research, Epidemiology, Public Health, Health Services Research, Biostatistics, Pharmacy, Medicine, or related discipline. Demonstrated expertise both scientific and technical in health economics, pharmacoepidemiology, biostatistics, or real-world evidence research. 12+ years of experience in HEOR, outcomes research, epidemiology, market access, or evidence generation within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, consulting, or healthcare industry. Experience supporting payer engagement & reimbursement strategy Track record of scientific publications and presentations in peer-reviewed journals and major congresses.
