Staff Therapist Position at CBT California/DBT California CBT California, Where Science Meets Compassion®, invites applications for a Staff Therapist position. CBT California (www.cbtcalifornia.com) is an internationally recognized practice and training institute specializing in CBTs and DBT founded by Dr. Lynn McFarr (Academy of Cognitive Behavioral Therapies Past President and UCLA Professor for over 20 years). Applicants must have previous training in both CBT and DBT and feel comfortable treating a highly educated, sophisticated clientele. Therapists in this position provide direct services, teach, consult on CBT and DBT in the community, have the opportunity to conduct research and program evaluations if there is interest, and may have the opportunity to supervise practicum students, associates and postdoctoral fellows. The therapist will be actively involved in the program as whole, serving on committees, marketing and providing ongoing input to improve our services and programs. Previous experience with providing services to adolescents is desirable, but not mandatory. Staff may provide services in person (required) and virtually and in our Beverly Hills and Torrance offices, depending on clinical need.
Eligibility Requirements:
Ph.D. or PsyD from an APA-accredited doctoral program, completion of an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship and CA state licensure or eligibility or licensure as a LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC. Pre-licensed psychologists and therapists may be considered. Competitive pay and benefits depending on experience, including opportunities for safe harbor, 401k, and profit sharing.
