RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the direction and supervision of the Coordinator, Psychology Services, the position provides professional psychological consultation regarding diagnostic assessment, eligibility determination, and the ongoing support of individuals with developmental disabilities. The role collaborates with interdisciplinary staff and supports service planning and decision‑making to promote timely, high‑quality psychological services.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION Doctoral degree (Ph.D./Psy.

D.) in Psychology from an APA-accredited university. Licensed by the California Board of Psychology (BOP) as a Psychologist.
EXPERIENCE
Must have at least three (3) years of experience in a clinic, hospital, or public agency. A significant portion of this time should have been spent in the evaluation and/or treatment of people with developmental disabilities. Must have experience in functioning as a part of a multi-disciplinary team. OTHER Ability to interpret and complete psychological/developmental evaluations with children and across the lifespan; communicate effectively with co-workers, parents and clients verbally and in writing; relate well to representatives of the community and associated agencies; work effectively in an interdisciplinary framework. Must be familiar with a wide variety of psychological tests. Required to have a specialized knowledge of developmental psychology, tests and measurement as well as psychological procedures with a focus on Autism and Intellectual Disabilities. Understanding of DDS policies, and regulations preferred.
STARTING SALARY
$39.69 to $43.66 an hour
