Job Description
Purpose of this position: This position provides professional work in the field of clinical psychology.
Qualifications :
A doctoral degree in the field of psychology or educational psychology, including a one-year internship; One year of post-doctoral experience in the field of psychology; and Licensure by the State of Pennsylvania in Psychology. A history of supervising mental health clinicians, interns, practicum students, etc. is desirable. Membership in appropriate national, state and local psychological associations is desirable. Thorough knowledge of mental health, and mental illness, their symptoms, treatment and social implications. Thorough knowledge of the principles and methods of psychology involving testing, diagnostic evaluation and psychotherapy. Thorough knowledge of child and developmental psychology. Considerable knowledge of the application of psychology to individual and group behavior. Considerable knowledge of the principles and methods of psychological research.
