Electronic (Using your CalCareer Account) Job Description and Duties Under the general supervision of the Education Administrator I in the Title I Policy, Program, and Support Office (TIPPSO) and the Director of Student Achievement and Support Division, the Education Programs Consultant (EPC) works independently on Title I, Part D Subpart 1 and 2 of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act and the subsequent Every Student Succeeds Act. The EPC is responsible for interfacing with other California Department of Education (CDE) staff and local County Offices of Education (COEs) to provide ongoing technical assistance and monitoring related to the requirements of Title I, Part D federal grant. The EPC will conduct compliance monitoring through the Federal Program Monitoring process including online and on-site reviews for COEs. The EPC will also compile and analyze data from the Consolidated Application and Reporting System to tailor technical assistance and professional development and Provide support and technical program information within the division for the submission of the Consolidated State Progress Report data to the US Department of Education. The EPC will serve as the CDE liaison to the National Evaluation and Technical Assistance Center for the Education of Children and Youth Who Are Neglected, Delinquent or At Risk for Title I, Part D and provide support to our School Fiscal Services Division for the annual count of children and youth in eligible institutions for Title I, Part D federal allocation purposes. TELEWORK OPTION HYBRID
This position is headquartered in Sacramento and may be eligible for a hybrid telework schedule for eligible applicants residing in California. Currently, the hybrid telework schedule includes working remotely and working a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.
