The Eligibility Policy and Process Manager will: Provide dedicated program management support for eligibility policy and process changes required as part of H.R. 1 implementation; Support planning, execution and monitoring of eligibility-related policy and operational changes to ensure alignment with federal and state requirements; Support consistent eligibility determinations, promoting program readiness, and ensure policy guidance and processes are implemented accurately across the Medicaid program. How does it get done? The Eligibility Policy and Process Manager is responsible for: Day-to-day planning, coordination, and execution of eligibility policy and process activities associated with H.R. 1 implementation; Supporting development and refinement of eligibility policies, procedures, and operational guidance; Tracking implementation progress; preparing documentation and reports; Coordinating with policy, operations, systems, and leadership teams; Monitoring implementation outcomes and assisting in identifying and addressing issues related to policy interpretation, process alignment, or operational readiness. Who are the customers? Internal stakeholders across Health Care Authority (HCA) and Medical Assistance Division (MAD), including eligibility policy teams, eligibility operations, systems staff, program leadership, and other partners involved in H.R. 1-related eligibility activities. Ideal Candidate Internal stakeholders across Health Care Authority (HCA) and Medical Assistance Division (MAD), including eligibility policy teams, eligibility operations, systems staff, program leadership, and other partners involved in H.R. 1-related eligibility activities. Minimum Qualification Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of professional level experience with a tactical impact directly related to the purpose of the position defined by the agency at the time of recruitment. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling six (6) years may substitute for the required education and experience. Employment Requirements Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license. Must obtain a Defensive driving certification. Working Conditions Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT), extensive personal computer and phone usage with extended periods of sitting.
