Job Overview:
The Ohio Department of Medicaid is seeking a detail-oriented professional to be a part of ODM's Budget Team. As a Budget Analyst, your responsibilities will include: assisting in preparing, maintaining, analyzing, and reporting the operating budget for the agency recommending coding of revenue and expenditure transactions for the operating budget maintaining payment and receipt schedule for projected special payment cycles to monitor cash flow assisting in monitoring and maintaining the appropriations and re-appropriations of the agency line items Why Work for the State of Ohio At the State of Ohio, we take care of the team that cares for Ohioans. Or completion of undergraduate core program in accounting, public finance, public administration or business administration; 12 mos. exp. in budgeting that included fiscal analysis, management & control (e.g., probability; linear regression; multiple variable regression; computer assisted regression analysis models; trend analysis; forecasting cost benefit analysis). Or Completion of graduate core program in accounting, public finance, public administration or business administration which included coursework in quantitative/statistical analysis (e.g., probability; linear regression; multiple variable regression; computer assisted regression analysis models; trend analysis; forecasting cost benefit analysis). Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.

The work location of this position is 50 West Town Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215. You will be required to report to this work location full-time, if selected. Travel required, as needed.
