Job Description

Lead proactive counterintelligence and security activities across the United States government, integrating the instruments of national power to detect, report, deter, disrupt, investigate, exploit, and defeat foreign intelligence threats.
Qualifications:
Mandatory Requirements:
Sufficient knowledge of IC analysis and collection to lead initiatives for the portfolio, including identifying relevant analytic and collection requirements and gaps. Expert knowledge of IC organizations; IC mission posture, structures, capabilities, processes, and policy development. Expert leadership skills and ability to create and lead formal and ad hoc interagency communities of interest and build coalitions with IC elements to achieve common goals. Expert knowledge of issues pertaining to counterintelligence in general and the portfolio in particular. Expert written and oral communication, including experience in briefing agency seniors and policymakers. Superior critical thinking skills, as demonstrated by the ability to consider strategic contexts, identify needs and requirements, develop recommendations, advocate to and inform internal and external audiences, and evaluate outcomes against goals and objectives. Superior interpersonal skills and superior ability to work effectively in both independent and in a team or collaborative environment. Superior oral and written communication skills, including superior ability to draft and edit written reports of varying length and complexity, and to communicate effectively with audiences of varying seniority and expertise.
