Job Description:
Fibertek is seeking a Security Specialist/Threat Intelligence Analyst to support our AI2C division in Pittsburgh, PA. The Analyst will assist in the development, coordination, and implementation of policy and guidance for Foreign Disclosure processes and Security and Intelligence functions within the AI2C's G2. The role ensures that U.S Classified Military Information and Technology are protected while balancing required determinations with disclosure authorities, sensitivities, and prohibitions. The Analyst will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in an intelligence security support and foreign disclosure role. The primary function involves operating within the parameters of a Delegation of Disclosure Authorization Letter (DDL) to make recommendations to government leads regarding the disclosure and release of classified and controlled unclassified information. The role also requires providing general intelligence security support, maintaining local security programs to AI2C and DEVCOM protection benchmarks, and training the local organization on proper intelligence security protocols.
Essential Job Duties:
The Analyst will be responsible for the end-to-end management of requests for the release of classified information and information for public release, which includes receiving, recording, tracking, and disseminating these requests within assigned AI2C areas. All disclosure actions must strictly adhere to National Disclosure Policy 1 (NDP-1) and take place exclusively within Government-to-Government forums; the contractor is expressly prohibited from disseminating classified information directly to foreign partners. Administrative responsibilities include maintaining a comprehensive record of all original and modified disclosure products for a minimum of one year. In a subject matter expert capacity, the contractor reviews classified military information (CMI) and controlled unclassified information for oral or visual disclosure, providing formal recommendations to government leads while coordinating foreign visits via the Foreign Visit System. This role also involves drafting foundational foreign disclosure guidance for government review and ensuring that local security programs, including Personnel Security, and Physical Security, meet required benchmarks. Finally, the contractor must complete government-provided certification within 30 days of award to receive a Delegation of Disclosure Authorization Letter and provide ongoing intelligence security training for the local organization. This position requires subject matter expertise in foreign disclosure processes and a deep understanding of mission-specific technology protection. Candidates must possess a mastery of National Disclosure Policy 1 (NDP-1) to effectively balance disclosure authorities against mission sensitivities and prohibitions. Technical proficiency in the Foreign Visit System is required, alongside a broad knowledge base covering multiple security disciplines such as Information, Personnel, Industrial, and Physical Security. Additionally, the role demands strong technical writing skills to synthesize disclosure history into standing guidance and policy recommendations for end-users and government leadership.
Job Requirements:
Experience and Expertise Required:
Bachelor's degree in Security, Intelligence, Criminal Justice, or related field (Master's preferred) Active SECRET required or TS/SCI, preferred Experience with DISS and managing personnel security processes Strong knowledge of access control requirements for classified systems and facilities Demonstrated ability to produce and brief intelligence assessments Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills Equal employment opportunity, including veterans and individuals with disabilities.
