Job Description

The Part-time Overdose Prevention Student Intern implements and evaluates projects related to opioid and stimulant overdose prevention. Projects include providing education and performing data collection, data analysis and project evaluation. This work will improve community health by preventing disease and promoting wellness. The employee will provide support during public health emergencies. Plan project activities Write project plan and review existing studies and data Determine performance measurements Perform data assessment and create logic model Prepare communication materials and database Collect and analyze data related to opioid and stimulant overdoses Develop and manage surveys and other data collection tools Monitor data from partners Clean data and perform descriptive analyses Evaluate interventions Collaborate and communicate with community partners Work with partners to collect and interpret data Utilize the Community Health Assessment and Community Health Improvement Plan Utilize Public Health Accreditation Board Standards for health equity, data analysis and communication and community engagement Create reports, presentations and website content for partners and the public Applicants have rights under Federal Employment Laws.
